After two years on the job, I got offered a better role. This time I work with a team based in Hong Kong.. The trip here is mainly for orientation and training.
Experiencing the Hong Kong airport takes me back to 6 years ago where I spent a lot of time with Dad. We took this train back and forth and did a long 14 hour layover in the airport.
The airport train was crazy smooth.. no loud noise. There were hardly any bumps.
Once the train stops at Central / Hong Kong Station, I was so hungry and I had to stop at this Shake Shack on the top of IFC mall. From here I had a long thought either taking the cab or the train to get to my hotel, located in Sheung Wan.
I took this picture later in the evening after checking in, in here I thought "Guess this'll be my home for the next 24 days". The hotel they provided me was nice and close to the office (only 5 minute walk).
As the first day is concluded, the next morning was my first day at work. It was an exciting journey knowing I'll be exploring all corners of this state.
